LOCALIZED CRYOTHERAPY

WHAT TO EXPECT

Localized Cryotherapy is a targeted treatment that uses ultra-cold air to address specific areas of the body. It’s often used to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and support recovery for sore muscles or joints. Think of it as spot-treatment recovery with all the benefits of cryo, without needing a full-body session. Treatments are performed by trained cryo specialists using a state-of-the-art CRYONiQ CRYO LC device.

Before

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the treatment area.

  • No special prep is needed, but we recommend avoiding applying oils or lotions right before your appointment.

  • Share any areas of pain, tightness, or injury with your therapist so they can target accordingly.

During

  • A handheld device will deliver a stream of cold air (around –25°F to –40°F) to the selected area for several minutes.

  • You’ll feel an intense cooling sensation, but it should not be painful.

  • Sessions are typically short, lasting 2-3 minutes depending on the area treated.
